1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to JustSpur. By creating an account, accessing, or using the JustSpur platform (website, app, or any related services), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use JustSpur. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MarchSeptember (the company that operates JustSpur).
Quick summary: Use JustSpur to find real dates. Be honest, be respectful, be yourself. Don't do anything you wouldn't be comfortable showing your mum.
2. Eligibility
To use JustSpur, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a resident of India or using the platform from India
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Not have been previously banned or removed from JustSpur
- Not be prohibited from using dating services under any applicable law
By signing in with Google, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet all eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to verify eligibility and suspend accounts that don't meet these criteria.
3. Your Account
Account creation
JustSpur uses Google Sign-In exclusively. By connecting your Google account, you authorise us to access your name, email address, and profile picture as provided by Google.
Account responsibility
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- You must not share your account with anyone else
- You must not create multiple accounts (one account per person)
- You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
- Your profile must represent you — no fake identities, catfishing, or impersonating others
Profile accuracy
Your profile must be an accurate representation of yourself. Your photos must be recent, clearly show your face, and must be photos of you. Misleading or fraudulent profiles will result in immediate account termination.
5. Prohibited Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on JustSpur and will result in immediate, permanent account termination:
Identity and fraud
- Creating a fake profile or impersonating another person
- Using someone else's photos without their consent
- Misrepresenting your age, location, or identity
- Using JustSpur for commercial solicitation, escort services, or prostitution
Harmful behaviour
- Harassment, stalking, threatening, or intimidating any user
- Sending unsolicited explicit content or sexual messages
- Discriminating against users based on religion, caste, race, gender, or disability
- Sharing another user's personal information without their consent
Technical abuse
- Attempting to bypass the daily Spur limit through technical means
- Scraping, crawling, or automated access to JustSpur data
- Attempting to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the platform
- Using bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the platform
Zero tolerance: Any content involving minors, threats of violence, or non-consensual intimate imagery will result in immediate account termination and reporting to law enforcement.
6. Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload to JustSpur, including your photos and messages. By uploading content, you grant JustSpur a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, display, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of operating the platform.
You confirm that any content you upload:
- Is owned by you or you have permission to use it
- Does not infringe any third-party copyright or intellectual property rights
- Does not contain nudity, graphic content, or anything illegal under Indian law
- Is not defamatory, hateful, or abusive towards any person or group
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms without notice.
7. Subscriptions & Payments
Premium subscription
JustSpur Premium is a monthly subscription at ₹99/month. It grants access to additional features including all date categories, photo editing, and the ability to see who liked you.
Billing
- Payments are processed by Razorpay. We accept UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking, and digital wallets
- Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled
- You will be charged on the same date each month as your initial payment
- Price changes will be notified 30 days in advance
Cancellation & refunds
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from the app settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain Premium access until then
- We do not offer refunds for partial months or unused Spurs
- In exceptional circumstances (technical failure, billing error), contact support@justspur.com within 7 days for a refund review
8. Spurs System
A "Spur" is a right-swipe action on JustSpur. The Spur system is central to our platform design:
- Free users receive 5 Spurs per day, resetting at midnight
- Premium users receive 5 guaranteed Spurs per day with priority matching
- Unused Spurs do not carry over to the next day
- Spurs are a platform feature, not a purchased commodity — they have no monetary value and cannot be transferred, sold, or refunded
- We reserve the right to adjust the Spur system with reasonable notice
9. Termination
You can leave anytime
You may delete your account at any time from the app settings. Upon deletion, your profile is removed from the platform immediately and your data is deleted within 30 days (see Privacy Policy for details).
We may terminate your account if
- You violate any of these Terms of Service
- You engage in conduct that harms other users or the platform
- Your account shows signs of being fake, automated, or fraudulent
- We are required to do so by law
In cases of serious violations (harassment, illegal content), we may terminate accounts without prior warning. For minor first violations, we may issue a warning before termination.
10. Disclaimers
JustSpur is a platform that connects people — we facilitate introductions but do not verify the identity, intentions, or background of every user.
- We do not guarantee that you will find a match, form a relationship, or go on a date
- We are not responsible for the actions or behaviour of users you meet on JustSpur
- Meeting strangers from any platform carries inherent risks — please exercise personal safety precautions (see our Safety Guidelines)
- JustSpur is provided "as is" — we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, MarchSeptember shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of JustSpur
- Loss of data, relationships, or opportunities resulting from platform downtime or errors
- The conduct, actions, or statements of other users on the platform
- Any harm resulting from meetings arranged through JustSpur
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to JustSpur in the 3 months preceding the claim.
12. Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
Before initiating legal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at legal@justspur.com to resolve disputes informally. We commit to responding within 15 business days.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service as our platform evolves. We will notify you of material changes by:
- Sending an email to your registered address at least 14 days before changes take effect
- Displaying an in-app notice
- Updating the "Last Updated" date on this page
Continued use of JustSpur after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, you may delete your account before they take effect.
